why is the water heater taking ages to ignite on my vaillant turbo max boil?

when I turn on the hot tap on my vaillant turbo max boiler the heater is not igniting for ages. If I keep turning the tap on and off it will eventually fire up. It never used to be like this so what is the problem with it? Meanwhile I'm wasting gallons of water down the sink, not good when you are on a water metre!

Sounds like your boiler is full lime off your cold water going in to the boiler. That slows down the move ment of your diafram and little port holes can be blocked to the diafram housing
