Fiesta 1.3 encore 1999 ( Petrol )heater not working?

I have brought a ex police car from the auctions and cannot get the heater to work, I have changed the thermostat and checked to make sure there are no air in the system. The blower works ok but just blows out cold air.

If you bypass the actuator module by just connecting the pipes going into and coming out of it together. This will mean you will have hot air all the time but no cold air!!. worked for me

I think you might find it's the heater actuator module, located in the heater hose just above the bulkhead where the pipes go from the engine bay through the bulkhead. It controls the flow of hot water and is an electical component linked by wires to the heater heat control nob.
