Our boiler runs with the heating on, it ignites initially then seems to go out with the pumps still running. When I then try to run hot water, it wont reignite and the water is just cold. We have to have the heating timee set to go off ever 45 minitues so that when it comes back on it ignites again to warm the radiaters. We have had several plumbers in to look at it but noone seems to be able to sort the prblem - ay ideas?

i had trouble with a frendly format sime 80..having problems with hot water....I checked the internet and after great concerns and fears..replaced the heat Exchange and the divertor valve together...with basic tools spanners etc and allan keys..you can replace....i was succefull
and now have great hot water once agasin...my boiler is six years old..go for it you can do it...Most plumbers just say repalce boiler. you dont.
