my 3yr old neff double oven model u1721n2gb is not heating light & fan working.please help

We had the same model and same problem which was cured by calling in an appliance repair man. The half moon shaped element was replaced and now we have a working oven again. The element was £25 + VAT and the labour charge double that. You can buy replacement elements on eBay but only do that if you are confident and competant in electrical repairs. Otherwise, call in an appliance repair person.

I don't have an answer but we have the same problem. I suspect it's the element as we've had our replaced twice already despite the oven being only 4 years old. Looking at the other posts on this site I see that there is advice regarding a similar problem with a U1421(titled Neff Oven does not get hot (U1421)? I've e-mailed the people at ukapplianceparts.com who responded to that enquiry for their advice re the U1721 and will let you know
