i am having trouble removing the clutch pedal ratchet i have removed the clip but the pin will not release is there something i have missed

there are 2 clips on pedal shaft, you need to remove the one next to brake pedal and pull shaft towards the left (sometimes the yellow plastic bush/spring sticks in clip groove and is tight to pull out),there is a flat on r/h side of shaft that mates with flat on pedal bracket
