Just noticed my Mistral plus(hotpoint) refridgerator - fridgefreezer isn't functioning, although it's humming, and d lights are on. Could you give me info about how to fix it?

can anyone tell me why my hotpoint mistral fridgefreezer is giving false temp readings top and bottom ie temp warning indicater is constantly flashing when temps are well below stated figure on screen(in fact top half is freezing things aswel as bottom freezer compartment.)
