How can i fix my Potterton Puma 80?

The central heating side of this combination boiler has stopped working. The pilot light remains lit and the hot water on demand works as it should. For approximately 30 mins this morning the central heating worked normally, then stopped again. What might be the problem?

if your pump is turning and the flow switch is working (you can test this by following the flow switch wire to the pcb then short the conection out across the terminals on the pcb its low voltage) and the fan runs ok and the diverter valve is opening and returning ok the vacum switch (air pressure switch) is droping out, test it by pulling the tube off it and blow and suck on it if the boiler lights with that, change it but check the tubes are not blocked to it :) have fun they can be a pig even for proffesonals

if you put heating on and the boiuler fires up for about 30 seconds and then goes of, the problem will probrably be the diverter valve.(needs replacing)
