my front door handle just turns around and around and doesn't open door

You need to firstly see if there is a name on the lock fitted on the door, the metal strip in the edge running from top to bottom. Then measure the distance between the centre of the handle vertically to were the key enters the cylinder in the lock and distance between bolt fixings on the handle. I have obtained a handle in the past from Doorfit products Birmingham in the past. PS you may just need a new lock ? above applies
