How do I add memory to my laptop?

I have a Inspiron 2200 and I would like to add more memory. It is starting to slow down and I think by adding more memory will slove the problem.

ment to add it has to be SODIMM PC2700 DDR not just PC2700 DDR.

You want DDR PC2700 I believe your machine comes with either 256 or 512 as you only have one slot in your machine you will need to take this out and fit a 1 GB DDR PC2700 stick of ram. Be careful as everything inside your machine is statically sensitive and can be damaged easily including your memory. RAM is sensitive too most things so don't touch the chips or the contacts just hold the corners. any problems email support@ellistechncial.co.uk
