Hoover WidePath Steam Vac?

While using my steam vac, it started to make a shrill-like noise, then started to smoke. When I let the motor cool, it started up with a steady motor weak pitch, and began to smoke again. Any suggestions, it has been not used very often?

Found out it was either the turbine or the motor. Neither worth fixing due to the cost. So, I am purchasing new.
