How can i fix my hotpoint sdw60 aquarius dishwasher ?

It wont drain and the lights are flashing on the machine. I have cleaned the filter and checked the pipes at the back. Is there anything else i could do before i decide to call for an engineer?

The pump is likely to be stuck....I had lemon pipe in mine. Unless you are confident in taking the pump out, I'd get a man in!
