Just as stated in my question, my ghd's just blew up!! lol

Switched on as usual, then there was a bang, a flash of light and a puff of smoke and of course a very startled me!! What happened there then?

Looks like part of the flex is all burnt out now but everything else still seems to be intact . Hubby had a go at fixing them but no joy.

I really dont wanna get rid as you know how expensive they are .... £90.00 for mine!!

Does anyone know if this can be fixed??

oh my god mine just did the same thing, exactly the same as urs and i want to go out now but my hairs a giant fuzzball!! so frustrating and sadenning i wana turn it on n just start using it as normal but am very paranoid its gona blow up agen or my haairs gona catch fire or something!

just send them back to ghd if yo have had them under 2 years becuase of your warrenty they will replace them for you
