Push button double flush. We are only getting the full flush, so how can we get the half flush working again and after flushing, water continues flowing into the bowl until we lift the cistern lid slightly, which appears to cause a wire to slightly move the flushing mechanism thus shutting off the water. Sorry to be so long winded - I'm used to a ball cock! Don't know make and model, but could find out. It would be really helpful if someone describes how these work in idiot language.

Exactly the same problem as Mandy. Three diferent plumbers have failed to fix it permanently!Unit replaced, water level adjusted, threaded rod adjusted but nothing lasts longer than a couple of months and the problem begins again. Can anyone explain how these mechanisms work?

SAME PROBLEM - BUT THE CISTERN CONTINUES TO FILL OVER THE DUAL FLUSH UNIT AND DRAIN DOWN THE OVERFLOW. WE HAVE HAD THE UNIT REPLACED, WE HAD ADJUSTED IT WITH THE THREADED ROD AND HAD THE WATER PRESSURE ADJUSTED BUT IT CONTINUES TO OVERFILL - HELP!!
