Every picture I take with my Nikon 101 is over 1.2mg. I know its something to do with the settings but cannot figure it out. Can anyone help please?

Hi, On my Nikon Coolpix 4300, this is how I set it:-

Turn the knob to SETUP.
Use the button UP/DOWN to select IMAGE QUALITY
Use the button RIGHT to select NORMAL or BASIC
Use the button DOWN to select IMAGE SIZE
Use the button DOWN to select a smaller size.
Use the button RIGHT to confirm the selection.
