Hi - i have a wooden front door that needs some attention! The paint is peeling and it has some cracks int he wood. I cant afford to buy a new door at the moment so how should i repair the door - do i need a filler for the wood? should i sand the door before i paint it again?

any help would be great!

Get some wood filler and sand the spot where the cracks are before putting the filler on. Clean with tack cloth and put wood filler on. Let wood filler dry(follow directions on wood filler), when dry sand smooth. When done with all cracks, scuff the rest of the door before doing anything else. Prime the wood filler spots, and then paint door.
