Whirlpool toploading wash machine repair?

Our machine is not agitaating or spinning upon forther investigation there is a black dust underneath the machine. which part needs to be replaced.

If it fills and drains but no spin or agitate, my money would be on the common motor coupler repair. The black dust is from the coupler wearing out.
