I have a slim line model which is 26 years old. It has worked find until now. When pushing the flush button on the top it does not have enough power to flush the toilet. When I take the top off the cistern and pull the lever the toilet flushes

The syphon diaphragm has split. DIsmantle the cistern, dismantle the syphon and replace it
