Fix Fault Cookworks

I have a Cookworks Pyramid kettle from Argos. I would like to know how to replace the filter which came out when i was cleaning it thanks

My cordless kettle will not heat up but when swicthing it on at the kettle the mains indicstor light up. Any ideas of a temperature trip??
