performa 24 cutting out?

Potterton performa 24 keeps cutting out - no hw or ch. Fires up for 50-60 secs then stops.

We are not getting hot water Whymight that be?

At the moment the boiler does not heat the water. The Green light is on.When the dial is on Radiator/Water the light remains on if we put it to Water only the light goes off. It is a Potterton 24
