BT FREELANCE XD1500?

We have a double BT freelance Xd 1500. The base unit says it the ansaphone is on - yet it doesn't go to ansaphone when someone rings in. Our Son who is 5 has pressed lots of buttons in some sequence that appears to of disabled this funtion - how do we enable again ! Tried BT helpline but they are closed. All help appreciated.

you need to record the message by pressing OGM then holding down the lower button on the right hand side, the top one records for message only and doesn't allow caller to leave a message.

we hav just bought a new fone from the market we hav no instructions and we dnt no how 2 work it weneva it rings we dnt nohow 2 ansa it, if we leave a message the message goes on2 our old fone even wen its not connected. Will sum1 plz help we dnt no wat else 2 do?!?!

I have a BT XD1500 which answers the call, says it's msg but fails to record the incoming persons message...any suggestions. Manual is missing.

I have a bt freelance xd 1500 digital...but it's set on analogue!! The bt engineer didn't even know how to change it to MF!! There is no switch on the main base....so anyone know how to programme the phone to work digitally?? I have misplaced the guide book.It's very annoying when it won't work in the world of "push button 1".... as it's not recognised the signal.

If the phone is rung does the ansaphone cut in but not allow the caller to leave a message or does the ansaphone not work at all??
