I have water entering my machine as the inlet flow is ok,,, It's filling the large upper white plastic tank up to the level inside on the water cycle but still comes up with the E1 fault code. Machine was working fine until my son tipped the machine on it's side to clean under it..then the fault code appeared during cycle .. any ideas??

hello, i deal with these dishwashers on a daily basis , the in let valve is what the inlet pipe is attached too ( i hope i dont sound patronising) if you take the lid you will see a white / cream plastic attatchment this is the inlet valve however this isnt usually the problem of E1 it tends to be a blockage or an air pocket try changing your inlet pipe or taking it of and giving it a good clean both your inlet pipe and your valve , kind regards

i too have this problem and i have the manual it says that the water inlet is not filling with the possible causes being:

please check if the water outlet valve is opening and there is sufficient water pressure. (it doesnt tell you where the water outlet valve is though in any of the instructions)
so if anyone can help as the water pressure in the taps if fine and it happens when nothing else is running.
