Although this answer comes several years too late...
I had a water problem. For my machine, the pump was good and the pipes were clear...but water remained in the machine after the empty cycle. The problem was that the grill on the exit was clogged...seeds, etc.,...so that all the water was not pumped out during the cycle. The repairman just dug out the seeds and cleaned it ! I no longer have this problem since I now know to clean the grill myself.
