I cut through the cord on my Qualcast electric hedge trimmer. Can it be repaired and will it be safe. Where can I get the repair done.

Don't try to repair the damaged cable. Either remove the remains from the machine and connect the undamaged length of lead back in, or fit a new lead. If you are not happy to do this, get an electrician to do it for you. Dangerous stuff, this electric, especially if you're working on wet grass!
