the frezer is what makes the frig cold,so im not sure what you mean by that.frezer burn can happen by unit being to cold,0 to 7 degres good 4 frezer temps food not protected,store wrapinp/boxs are fine or maybe your storeing food to long.I fixed thousands of refers have had very few complanits on frezer burn
