ford fiesta single point injection engine turns over but wont start ?

ford fiesta single point injection takes ages to start when it does start runs very rough; starts ok once run for a few seconds until left to go cold again (damp is not the problem) can any one help

Have a similar problem, the AA guy pulled the wire off the manifold temp sender and it starts ok.

Try that and see if it starts.
