Hi the circuit breaker on my dishwasher needs to be reset where do I find it and how do I reset it.

It is rare for domestic appliances to have their own circuit breaker. Circuit Breakers are usually part of the house wiring and several are fitted to protect lighting and power circuits.

A circuit breaker acts very much like a fuse but it looks like a switch. To reset a tripped breaker you just push the switch toggle handle to the up position. Some older breakers have a red button - you just push the button in.

All the circuit breaker switches in the picture are off with the switch handles pointing down.
