there is not enough water flowing in to make the top sprayer to work. we have checked the water flow going to the dihwasher, it seems to be fine. this is a used dishwasher we didn't get a booklet with it and don't know how old it is. you can add more water to it and it works great. it is just trying to get it to fill up with water on it's own.
