The screws fixing the flag hinges of the upvc externally opening door to the conservatory frame have worked loose.
The screws are masked by the hinge. There is a security plate preventing access to the hinge. This slides up and down to remove but there is some obstruction. There is an allen key operated screw in the end of the hinge which I assume locks this plate but when turned fully in or out does not enable the plate to be removed. Can anyone give advice how to remove this type of hinge ?

hi, go do a search for mila hardware on internet flag hinges. it shows the product on there and how to fit them . so would guess fitting is reverse of removal .

i would assume its just a matter of having the door half open , then from what i can see take out bottom weather caps of the hinge . then pull the door up and off after knocking out the centres of the hinges??

its easy just open the sash to 90 degrees from closed and lift the door
