Remove the yarn from the yarn feeder. Undo the two screws that hold the sinker plate assembly to the carriage and carefully remove it. It may be caught on a needle.
If the yarn has tangled in the wheels, remove it from them. Set the change knob to CR and lift the carriage up towards you to remove it. Before replacing carriage turn the knob to NL and screw the sinker plate assembly back on to the carriage, making sure that it seats properly as you tighten the screws.
