LF problem on baxi combi 130HE?

My boiler has failed in the sub-zero overnight temperatures.

Incicator light flashing LF indicates Condensate Trap problem.

Have checked outside condensate pipe which is clear, not frozen, at its outlet base.

Anyone had similar problem/solutions?

my boiler just started leaking and LF is flashing, however our pipe runs to an internal waste to the downstairs sink, any ideas?

I've had loads of problems with LF on the 130HE. For the first 3 months, it was the fact that the condensate pipe was sagging in the middle as it made its way (almost horizontally) to the outside wall of the house. This caused it to be blocked with accumulated water and the condensate trap consequently overflowed. There are two electrical contacts on the top of the condensate trap which, when bridged by water overflowing from the trap, cause shutdown and LF to be displayed. Unfortunately, if there is a slight leak of water from the heat exchanger, this can also dribble down and land on the contacts, causing the same symptoms.

mine is flashing lf, the condensate tank is clean ,over flow pipe not blocked but the condensate tank keeps filling with water cutting the boiler out out

Diagnosis was a frozen external condensate outlet pipe.
Had to break open pipe, de-ice, fit new pipe and insulate it better.
Engineer upgraded damaged internal condensate chamber as part of the re-instatement.
Recommendation is to fit properly insulated external outlet at least 1.5 inch diam to prevent freezing up in these extended sub-zero conditions.
