My alarm system appears to arm correctly with the red indicator lamp flashing to show that it is armed. However, after an indefinite period the alarm sounds for no apparent reason. Is it possible to disconnect the horn and yet retain the central locking system?

disconecting the horn will not influence the alarm capacity to function.If U cut the wires make sure they are insulated."However, after an indefinite period the alarm sounds for no apparent reason."-this will still happen, removing the horn will not take care of the problem!
