Lost chipped key for 98 Almera 1.6, Immobiliser bypass?

I've lost the chipped key to my S reg (98) Nissan Almera 1.6, I've got a non-chipped key but it won't keep the engine running. Is there a way to bypass the immobiliser and just use a non-chipped key?
