My Mansfield 160 will flush, however, when it fills, it continues to run. ?

When my toilet continues to run, can I simply adjust the float ball arm so it will stop running? Seems that when I manually raise the float a little, it will shut off. Or, do I need to install a new flush assembly?

Hi Ron try what you suggested, if it continues to run you will probably have to change the syphon, as the plastic valve at the bottom of the syphon is probably broken/torn, hope this helps.
