UPVC door to unheated conservatory freezes up?

The upvc door from our conservatory to the rear garden gives us trouble each winter as it freezes solid. Not the lock - the frame - is there anything I could wipe round the rubber seal with to prevent the freezing. i.e. would antifreeze harm the door.
