I need to re-fret and replace the fingerboard on my spanish cuatro, how can i do this?

Including myself I dont suppose many people know what a cuatro is. If as I suspect it is a small guitar type fretless instrument why bother going to all the trouble? Why not get a guitar? You can get them in all sizes these days.Youll probably have great trouble getting a fretted fingerboard for an odd size instrument, only option I can think of is to have one made. Much dosh!
