Is it normal for un upright freezer to be warm to the touch on the outside?

this is a Kenmore frostless freezer.

yes that is why it is frostfree.our sears freezer is about a year and a half old.we bought the extended warrantee that includes a serviceman check-out once a year. he said it is the way it is supposed to work.
