How can I get my Zanussi FL1023 washing machine to start?

The washing machine loads with water. Then there are various click sounds but no rotation of the drum. The nameplate says it is a Mod # C81656 L.

Try the brushes i have the 1050 mod, same thing happened to that. They seem to eat brushes.
