hi if you take a look at the assembly screws holding you're toaster together ,you will find that they're a little unusual ,not you're conventional screwdriver heads, this is because these heads are refered to as (tamperproof) .which also means no servicible parts inside the appliance.even if you were able to source a new element ,it wouldn't be cost effective .buy yourself a nice new one |:)
