I have a 2 year old ZWF14070W washing machine. A couple of days ago I started it up to do a wash. No water gushed in - just a whirring noise for a couple of seconds and then nothing. Switched it off and cleaned out the filter - found a couple of cotton wool buds - took them out, replaced filter. Switched on again - still no water then short whirring noise. The green wash and door lights come on - but that's it. Any ideas? regards

is the water switched on?
is the inlet hose kinked?
Could be lots of reasons it does this due to the way it works when an internal fault is found.Faulty door lock,faulty drain pump,faulty motor,faulty element,faulty inlet valve
