Tevion D1i twin digital cordless searching only but no tone?

hi there

i have connected my Tevion D1i twin digital cordless with power plug and phoneline but there is no tone and no ring when i am dialing my home number. Just display is working and i have set all settings.
there is no tone at all just display saying "searching".
