scantronic 9600?

hope someone can help me with a mains failure on my keypad,I've changed the battery,no joy,any suggestions please.

The keypad is supplied with a 12v feed as gts has pointed out.Look Barry its a no brainer!!!..what component supplies that 12v feed???.Here's a clue transformer!.Check for 240vac forward at transformer,vac IN goood NO 12v out baaad...

Thanx gts,there appears to be no power to the keyboard,.I have tested for 12v.any ideas?.

this may sound stupid,but have you checked the mains feed to spur unit ?your keypad is feed a 12 volt feed,not 240 volts

Hello Barry,.Do you own a multimeter,are you confident working on a LIVE panel??...just the 240vac setting...needed... for a simple transformer test.
