alarm/central locking on vauxhall vectra 2.0 diesel 1999?

the remote key fob wasnt working so i opened the drivers door with the key and the alarm went of so i pressed the button on the dash this stopped it going off. since then only the drivers door will open, the cental locking doesnt work and the light above the alarm button on the dash flashes.
i replaced the battery in the key fob and tried syncronising it as requested in the manual but it still doesnt work and i cant open any other doors except the drivers
Thanks Antony

this happened to my daughters vectra 2.0 dual fuel . its not sorted yet but to get into the car via the drivers door disconnect the drivers door courtesy light. this allows you to get in without the alarm going off.

Try Disconecting the control unit located on the right hand side of the drivers footwell apply a little vaseline to the block conectors and re-conect. It worked for me however you may find you require a new remote fob - Dealer Sorry!
