I have a OPTIMAXM intruder alarm which we had installed in 1991 & has been working ok since then. Recently a fault has occured which we do not how to correct. All the zones & sounders work but when any of the zones are activated the sounder just 'beebs' away & no alarm goes off. How can this be corrected?

Yep they won't recover or change themselves when they are totally goosed,

Count the ripples or bulges,

I've collected some fine specimens over the years including one soooo severely distorted it looks like a blowfish,mind you that was before the days of the valve system.

He he me never could throw anything away :)

Average battery life 2-5 years dependent on the system.

So your battery is at least 21 years old.

The average 21 year old could work this out, you`re obviously older and cannot accept a battery lasts more than 5 years and cannot use the search option, which means you are desperate to save 50MB of bandwidth to do a correct search.
My guess is your looking for the cheapest option. Always the best ehh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
