we have a alarm system that has no name on it, it went off a few days ago and now displays PL, the alarm still works but we have to input the code twice to get it to set, does anyone know how to remove this fault from the system

a bit late
but this would normally mean a phone line fault on your alarm or fail to communicate i think you alarm could be a gardtec 581 or 593 this would only come up if yopu alarm is connected to an alarm receiving centre (arc) if it is then it will be under conract with an alarm company or used to be and hasnt been programmed out
