how can I fix my Ford mondeo car alarm?

The alarm on my ford mondeo is extremely sensitive and is constantly going off upsetting my neighbours. How can I make it less sensitive or turn if off??
Anita Berkeley, February 2007
Try looking in the fuse panel over the wheel arch, the relays in the alarm cicuit can come loose/ Press them all in tightly, it worked 4 me.

try closing the air vents as this can set off the ultrasonics causing the alarm to go off.
also try finding the alarm control module(usally located somewhere under the dash)and turn the sensitivity down a fraction.

problem is you pull the fuse and this is when your motor will be stolen! Always the same you can put the alarm on everynight and it is the one time you forget or you don't bother that the car gets nicked.
I wish my alarm would work! Your problem seems like a switch some place maybe? Maybe its under the bonnet

Carlito Corway, February 2007
pull the fuse for it
