Yanni is close but not exactly right. When you unplug it then taken the cover off, find where the tape is held (you cant miss it!) and the gear next to it. (I have forgotten the colour) Roll back this gear (as if you were looking at it from the front and towards you) and the video will start to eject. Dont worry about the entry slot, because that will retract too.

I don't know the model you have but typically if you remove the outer sheet metal covers held by four (4) screws you will have access to the video tape holding framework of the transport. Usually one can reach in with fingers from the back and forcefully eject (push) the video cartridge out while holding the entry door open with the other hand.
