skips cycle?

The Zanussi washing machine FJR 1454 is started it will skip from time of 56 minutes down to 3 minutes. and begins ending spin cycle. Is this a problem with the timer, if so, can it be fixed without a repairman? Or could it be something else that can be fixed?

nothing wrong with timer.most probably bloked censor pipe!.little skiny pipe on side of pump witch goes up washer to top into sencor .take of pipe and clean .make sure you can blow down pipe!!
