Maytag H2O ice door keeps opening/shutting?

My 18 month old Maytag H20 is on the fritz. The ice door keeps opening and shutting and the control panel is flashing.

HI WE JUST HAD THE SAME PROBLEM,THE COMPUTER IS THE PROBLEM.WE HAD A LOT OF LIGHTING IN OUR AREA,MIRAMAR,FLORIDA AND THE FRIDGE AND THE HOUSE ALARM WENT BAD.THEY HAVE TO PUT A NEW ONE.

Mine is 16 months old and I am having the same problem. Rumor is 'the refrigerator and freezer won't keep food cold if the control panel is out'.
