My phone says line in use , out of range and I can't get any other response out of my phone. None of the phones are in use . all connection to the phone are in place. Can anyone help me solve this mystery?
If you cannot get a dial tone, there is a small fuse inside the base station has opened. Probably caused by lightning on the phone line. I jumped a small amp (3/4 amp) across the blown fuse and got dial tone back.
