Glowworm Spacesaver 50 Electrical problems?

Hey,

I have a Glowworm Spacesaver 50 boiler, and the water pump/control unit.

As of 3 weeks ago, the control unit stopped functioning (and as far as i am aware there is power getting to the boiler because it is still lit... The pump is also silent (There is no control unit of course), but i would assume it would "buzz" or "hum" quietly at least if it was plugged in because of how old it is.

Is there a way to find out if the electronics in the boiler have malfunctioned? I am going to turn off the gas and try and relight the boiler to see if there is power to it, but is there any other ways of testing the electrical supply?

Cheers

The boiler might not be having any demand, turn the room thermostat up to max and turn the cylinder stat up. If this doesnt work it may be the 3 port valve, usualy there is a little external actuator on this to allow HW + heating in the event of failure, move this off the stop and it should latch in the HW + H position with the boiler then firing up. If still no joy further investigation will be neccessary.
